I have been bringing groups of ladies to Grafham Water Centre for over ten years, 6 times a year to sew, knit, bead, spin and do scrapbooking. This place is heaven on earth... a place where you are warmly welcomed and looked after so well. The food is superb and plentiful and the staff are very accommodating to any dietary requests. Having visited Grafham Water in a previous school, I knew when we were looking for something new for our Y6 it was the place to go to. The children love the freedom of the Bell Tent village, which offers a real camping experience (very early mornings are a must). There is a constant flow of conversation between ourselves and the centre which ensures that we always build a trip that suits our pupils’ needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending Grafham Water Centre to any of my colleagues across all ages of the education sector. The accommodation and catering is excellent, the activities and professional approach of the staff amazing and our aim of having a fun-filled weekend, with students pushing their boundaries, was certainly met.

My students had the best time, have requested a repeat visit and came home exhausted but happy.
