By joining the GCA you can benefit from the discounted use of the Centre's equipment and provision of safety cover, as well as mixing with other like minded enthusiasts.
The Association meets every Thursday evening from 26 April to 13 September from 5 :30 pm and also the second and last Saturday afternoon of every month 1.30pm until 5.00 pm ( except during the winter months ). Saturdays start on 31 March and run through to 1 December. The minimum requirement for each individual joining GCA is RYA Level 1 in sailing, RYA Start windsurfing or a 1 Star in Paddlesports. The minimum age for joining GCA is 14 years. Proof of qualifications will need to be provided.
GCA Annual Membership Fee: £15.00 per annum
GCA per session: £16.00 (to be paid in addition to the Annual Membership Fee)
Pay & Play for Level 2 Sailors and upwards (GCA Members only). If you are a GCA member and you have a day off during the week, or a weekend when GCA are not running, Pay & Play enables you to phone the Centre and check that we have safety cover on the water. If this is the case and you are at the required standard this new scheme enables you to go out on the water, safe in the knowledge that there is safety cover.
