International Certificate of Competence - Inland (CEVNI)

The Level 2 course can be used as the practical assessment for this certificate of competence, recognised for inland waterways. There is an additional written examination at a cost of £18. Simply mention when booking that you wish to complete the inland CEVNI test and ask about the recommended reading to help with the written exam. You will need to bring with you a passport sized photograph and your passport for registration purposes. After successful completion an additional fee (£39.00 at the time of printing) is payable to the RYA for administration (free to RYA members).
