Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) (Certificate)

This course is designed for people who need to have an understanding of the operation of VHF Marine Radios. The course will include use of Global Maritime Distress and Safety Systems (GMDSS) and Digital Selective Calling (DSC). The Centre provides computer simulation programmes for this course. No previous experience is required, however students should be familiar with the phonetic alphabet.
