Windsurfing Courses

Windsurfing is one of the most exhilarating watersport activities.  It is an exciting, challenging sport.

With its ideal waterside setting, Grafham Water Centre is a recognised RYA Windsurfing Centre and offers the perfect venue for windsurfing, with sheltered water close to the shore in front of the Centre and wide stretches of the lake for the more experienced.  We have a good selection of boards and rigs to enable you to get the best from your windsurfing.

The National RYA Windsurfing Scheme consists of three main levels: Start, Intermediate and Advanced. The Intermediate course can be endorsed as either planning or non planning depending on the wind conditions for the course and the ability of the candidate. After achieving an Adult Intermediate level of ability you can choose whether or not to enhance your ability to beach start or carve gybe by doing one of our clinics via a personal tuition route.
