Open to beginners and experienced woodcarvers, the course will explore the ways in which images and patterns can be created on wood. Perspective, shadow, texture and the grain of the wood all play a part in carving.

The tutor provides both materials and equipment for the course, but you can bring any of your own tools if desired. On Friday evening projects for everyone will be discussed and decided upon. You can come with your own ideas or decide on a project with the extremely experienced and friendly tutor. Tuition will be given on your individual project.
