Our Centre, situated in over 15 acres on the shoreline of Grafham Water, provides the ideal setting for watersports and land-based activities. These activities provide the foundation for learning and building on skills such as communication, co-operation, teamwork, respect for others and safety, and to increase individuals self-confidence.
All year round we offer a number of differently structured visits for your school, as listed below:
- Residential Visit
- Day Visit
- Part Day Visit
A group as small as 6 persons to a group as large as 70 persons can be accommodated on a residential visit. For a day visit the group can be much larger.
The Centre aims to make every aspect of a residential visit educational, from the pupils making their beds when they arrive to laying the table for meal times and clearing away after, to thinking about the safety of themselves and their peers during activities.
For schools in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, advice can be gained from Stephen Brown or to find out who your local Outdoor Education Advisor is please click here.
