The Centre has recently undergone a huge refurbishment and development project to include a brand new accomodation block and refurbishment to the existing buildings. Among the many benefits of this project has been the improvments to our disabled access and facilities, here are some of the many benefits:

  • Motorised remote wheelchair lift and additional ramps.
  • Special needs suite, which includes remote motorised control bed, overhead tracking system with raising/lowering hoist for access to disabled toilet/bathroom (Sky frame system), motorised remote controlled raising bath with integrated pull down changing bench and shower facilities and motorised remote controlled raising hand basin.

  • A variety of different specialist activity equipment, which include mechanical hoists and trolleys, specialist harnesses, support equipment, transfer devices, a tandem bicycle and wheely boat.
