Learning to sail can be the start of something new and exciting. This beginner course will take you through the basics. During the two days you will learn how to rig the boat and turn round safely. Stage 1 and 2 courses can be linked into a combined course over four days.
If none of these dates are suitable this course can be completed through Personal Tuition
Now you have got to grips with the basics, it's time to improve on those skills. These courses are run over 2 days, giving you the chance to improve on the skills you already have and prepare yourselves for the more advanced modules. Stage 1 and 2 courses can be linked into a combined course over four days.
Lunch is provided both days
This course can be taken as Personal tuition if none of these dates are suitable
A chance for the whole family to try a paddlesports taster session using a variety of different canoes, kayaks or sit on top kayaks. Sessions are a half day, from 09.30 hours to 12.30 hours. Groups must include at least 1 child under the age of 16. Why not bring a packed lunch and combine with a half day sailing taster and enjoy a full day of family watersports fun!
Please be aware that children aged under eight may not be able to take part in all activities (see above).
An opportunity for the entire family to participate in a weekend of adventurous activities on both land and water. Bring your own camping equipment and tents. Self-catering only. Arrive Friday PM and depart Monday AM.

Price includes 3 nights camping (own tents) with use of the Centre toilets and showers.
Four full activity sessions for all the family.

We are delighted to support candidates in achieving their DofE Gold Award by offering an activity based residential experience. This involves spending five days and four nights away from home with like minded people you've never met before. It's a very exciting and fulfilling experience. As part of the experience we are able to offer a National Governing Body award in one of the following activities:sailing, paddlesports or climbing. Which one you choose is up to you!
Our multi-activity Discovery Club is for young people aged 8 to 11 who want to try new activities, develop exisiting skills, meet new friends and have fun! Discovery Club runs on selected days during school holidays from 8.30am until 5.30pm.
Discovery Clubs can be booked for 1,2,3,4 or 5 days – please specify which days you would like at the time of booking on your booking form. Children can be dropped off between 8.30am and 9am, activity sessions start at 9am and the day will end at 5pm, ready for you to pick your children up between 5pm and 5.30pm.
A healthy packed lunch will be provided.
This multi-activity Discovery Club is for young people aged 12 to 16, a slightly more advanced programme for those who would like to try new activities, develop exisiting skills, meet new friends and have fun! Discovery Club runs on selected days during school holidays from 8.30am until 5.00pm.
During the course of the day young people will have the opportunity to experience both land and water based activities, however please note that our activities, due to their nature, are sometimes dependant on the weather conditions and are therefore subject to change at short notice.
