Grafham Water Centre organises a number of instructor training programmes to encourage the development of appropriate skills and approaches in a variety of disciplines.
These courses are taught following the syllabus of the relevant National Governing Body and can be taken as part of our Fast Track Programme or individually.

+MT.UK Climbing Wall Leading Award (CWLA)
£95 (Full Day)
This day long course is for experienced SPA or CWA qulified climbing instructors who wish to teach lead climbing on artificial climbing walls. Candidates must be able to lead climb F6a on sight and take good falls on the lead. This course looks at risk assessment, coaching, teaching strategies and duty of care as well as falling and dynamic belaying.
