Grafham Water Centre is an ideal place to spend a weekend starting or following a hobby. The majority of the rooms where the courses are conducted overlook the picturesque reservoir, with beautiful views. The Centre provides accommodation, excellent food and refreshments for all weekend courses.

If you like Jazz and want to spend a weekend learning and playing music with other musicians, then the Grafham Water Jazz Course is for you. The course is renowned for its relaxed, informal atmosphere and beautiful setting overlooking Grafham Water, situated a few miles from Huntingdon and the A1.

There are two weekend courses every year, usually the last weekend in January, and late September. Playing in small ensembles, we cover a range of styles from mainstream to contemporary, drawing on both the jazz tradition and a range of influences from around the world such as Township and Salsa.

With late night jam sessions, good food and a relaxed atmosphere, Grafham Jazz Course is waiting for you to discover it.

You can read more about the course on the Grafham Jazz website.

The food is freshly served canteen style with a delicious buffet lunch with homemade soup in the winter to keep you warm. The breakfasts are legendary...better,…

What I love most about Grafham Jazz is the friendly, welcoming atmosphere; I have made friends for life there. It is also a really safe space to try new things; after attending for many years as an experienced jazz saxophonist, I’ve recently taken up jazz singing there and have felt so supported in this new endeavour by the tutors and my fellow students!
